Floral Art

Entries close Wednesday 21 February 2018

Did you know?

The art of flower arranging dates back centuries, with the earliest known arrangement being in Ancient Egypt around 2,500BC.  It is thought that the Ancient Egyptians were the first people to place flowers in vases to decorate their surroundings.

The Newcastle Regional Show offers a range of floral art classes for both budding and professional florists.  If your talents don’t quite stretch to creating beautiful arrangements, be sure to visit the display during Show weekend.  We guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
