Come and see the judges taste and discuss each exhibit, with any questions answered. All judging is open to the public with the exception of iced & decorated. Cookery categories include:
- General Cookery
- General Cookery Special Men’s Section
- Fruit Cakes & Puddings
- Icing & Decorating
- General Cookery Junior Classes up to 12 years
- General Cookery Junior Classes 13 to18 years
- Icing & Decorating Junior Classes 8 to 12 years
- Icing & Decorating Junior Classes 13 to 18 years
- Icing & Decorating Novice Section

2010 Cookery & Jams
Public Judging commences 11:00am Friday 26th March
Jams & Pickles
Judging is open to the public, and Judges will taste and discuss each exhibit and answer questions. Categories include:
- Traditional orange marmalade
- Any other citrus marmalade
- Apricot jam (using fresh fruit)
- Any other stone fruit jam
- Ripe tomato jam (tomato only, no lemon/ginger etc)
- Jam made from a single tropical fruit
- Jam made from a combination of two or more tropical fruits
- Strawberry jam
- Plum jam
- Apricot jam – using dried fruit
- Fig jam
- Any other fruit jam
- Berry jam (eg. blackcurrant, raspberry)
- Quince jelly
- Savoury jam
- Best collection of jams 2 jars (not citrus)
- Best collection of jams 2 jars (citrus)
- Lemon butter
- Fruit paste
- Sweet jelly
- Savoury jelly
- Savoury paste
