Stockland Schools Junior Cattle Judging Competition
2009 Newcastle Regional Show Junior Cattle Judging
Schools from all around the district are invited to participate in this educational and exciting day out for their students.
The Junior Cattle Judging Competition is Open to all High Schools and Primary Schools and students up to Year 12.
Students compete in teams of three and are given an overview of what to look for from a qualified Cattle Judge prior to scoring the 3 animals they will each judge.
The winning school teams will have their names inscribed on a perpetual trophy, and will also receive a memento trophy and cash for their school.
Individual competitors will compete for a commemorative plaque, wrist watch and sash.
Date: Friday 26th March 2010
Time: Registration commences 9:00am
Judging: Commences at 9:30am
Closing date for entries: Tuesday 16th March 2010 (NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED)
Entry Fee: $5.00 per student
Presentation at approximately 1:00pm
